Since you can reach great speeds with a recumbent trike, a reliable and capable braking system is a key requirement for a safe trike. We offer various options in this area, so that we can fulfill the individual requirements of each rider and riding style.

Our Drumbrake Sturmey Archer offers a sealed system, that runs practically maintenance free. Dirt and water have no chance of influencing the braking performance. The drum brake can be retrofitted and even be combined with our front suspension. Changeable industry bearings ensure longevity of the braking system. Of course you can also combine this brake with the Drum brake hub dynamo Sturmey Archer.

The Parking brake mechanical disc brake SRAM BB7 offers you at all times an extra strong defense against unwanted movement of the trike. While on foot, by lifting up the rear wheel and locking the parking brake, it's particularly easy to maneuver the recumbent trike. The 3D brake caliper alignment system enables the optimal adjustment of the brake, so that it has no contact with the rear wheel while riding the trike.

Our Brake lever syncronous for dual pull cable with locking device enables you to single handedly control your braking system. Also, it comes with a useful integrated locking mechanism, with which you can secure your trike against unwanted movement when parked.
